Jim - time does past by so fast - but yes, some days it's just like it
happened yesterday. I wasn't on line much the last few weeks - partially due
to computer cliches - but last weekend (on the girls "brithdays" ) we were
involed in the post prom party for the prom kids at our high school. My
daughter Courtney (16) is class pres. of the jr. class - and it's up to the
mom of the pres. to put this party on - it's a big deal - took 5 months of
planning - $6,000 to raise, and 8 committees under me - but we all did it -
we had over 300 kids there from midnight to 4 a.m. We got home about 6 a.m.
after being there since 2:30 pm on Friday - except for 4 hours of sleep that
night! So I feel Nicole got cheated somewhat - we came home and went to bed
at 6 a.m. - and then went out to the cemetary that afternoon - but knowing
she knows the story.
I just hope that I can continue to reach out to others and help them thru
this path that they are going down. We have a new mom - gave birth early -
1lb. 12 oz. baby - with a chromosome disorder. The lady from church relating
this story wasn't clear - but I asked her to find out the disorder and I'd
ask all of you about it - she wasn't sure it was a trisomy though.
Hope your weekend went well - our girls are up there going through those
"terrible twos"! At least Jesus and the angels can run after them!!!! :-)
Take care - hugs to your family - on this belated bd.
Lynn - mom to Nicole Faith 4/22-9/5/99
