Sorry I'm so late in welcoming you to the wings group. I'm so glad you found
us! I was saddened to hear of the loss of your Gavin. This is a tough journey
that you have embarked on - I have found that if I keep my heart open, many
blessings do occur. I lost my daughter, Rachael almost 2 !/2 years ago. She
also had T-13 but she lived to be 16 1/2 years old. Although she is no longer
here in body, I feel her spirit around me all the time. Yes, I still miss her
and yes, it still really hurts - I don't think that ever goes away but I have
learned to live with it and to cherish my memories. I hope that you find some
peace here along with a few good giggles!!
