Wow! Sounds like the director was the one with some huge hang-ups! I think
kids sometimes deal with talking about this stuff better than we give them
credit for. Ashlyn has always done well talking about Erin with her friends.
And I've talked about Erin with my grandkids--nothing preachy, just so they
know she's part of their life. They know they have an aunty that's an angel
baby.
I think a big problem is when parents don't discuss death with their kids, then
something happens to a family member and it's even more traumatic.
