[tri-wings] Hi to Holly and everyone!

Holly,

We are doing good here. Amy and the girls are getting things ready for a
quick camping trip this week. We bought a small popup camper this summer and
we try to get up to the lake every chance that we get. The girls are growing
like crazy.

Mandy will be starting High School this year (9th grade) and we are trying
to avoid the boyfriend issue as long as we can. There are several boys that
call her on a regular basis but we can't bring ourselves to let her "date"
yet, no matter what her friends are supposedly allowed to do. This will be
her last year of League cheerleading and I think that she might try out for
some school sports. She is now 2 inches taller that Amy's 5'1" and outweighs
her by a little. Between her arguments about wanting a belly button ring and
hair coloring, my hair is quickly getting colored..... grey, that is.

Katie will be in the 5th Grade this year and will be starting the PATS
Program. She is rapidly catching up to Amy but still likes a lot of the
little girl stuff for which I am thankful. I know that they will grow up and
that we can't stop it, but I sure wish that they would slow down and stay
children a little longer. She is still active in Girl Scouts and has 1 more
year on the midgets squad before they bump her up to the next level. She
loves to be outdoors and I think she spends the majority of her time either
in the pool or on the trampoline.

Amy is staying busy with her volunteer work and helping me with my part-time
work. I think that she might be ready for the girls to go back to school
though, LOL. She is one of the assistant scout leaders in Katie's Troop and
also is one of the Cheerleading coaches on Mandy's squad. She isn't doing as
much volunteer work up at Katie's school though. They have a new Principal
there and she doesn't encourage parent participation whatsoever. She still
puts up with me........imagine that, and I don't even think that she's tired
of me yet. I'm glad of that cause she's still my "main squeeze".

I'm still working for the State and doing my own thing on the weekends. I
shaved my beard off last year and just keep my mustache now. I'm still
working on the house here and I might even finish one day. If I do in the
next couple of years, we're going to look for some property farther out in
the country. Then maybe we won't have to go camping so much, but I doubt it.

Hope you, Mike, and Morgan are doing good. Amy and I often talk about the
many friends that we met from the List and from the SOFT conference in
Orlando. It seems like that was so long ago. Sorry I haven't kept in touch
with everyone, but I will try to pop in every now and then and say hi.
