Hi Esmirna,
I am so sorry for what you are having to go through. Our daughter Erin
(11/4/94-5/4/95)was T-18 and lived for six wonderful months. She was never
really "sick" during that time--an occassional sniffle, but that's about all.
Then at 6 months she got a cold she couldn't whip. That combined with heart and
lung problems is what took her from us. She died very peacefully in my arms at
home, forever taking away my fear of death. Her pictures and story are on her
website.
We didn't have a prenatal diagnosis, but if we had I wouldn't have changed a
thing. The only thing I think of is that we could have had her in a bigger
hospital that could hav better dealt with her problems.
My thoughts and prayers are with you.
Hugs,
Gloria--mommy to angel Erin, plus Loren, 31; Adam,30; Brenda, 26; and
Ashlyn,15; wife to Kim, and Grandma to 6 and a fraction.
