Hi Stacy, 

I am Barb. My daughter Annie died Aug 12. She had tri 13. The dr decided not
to diagnose her source of respiratory distress, and she died after the dr
placed a dnr in her chart. The last medication report is missing. 

Sadly, most people think these kids are better off dead. I truly hope that
you are left with the feeling that the medical community helped to give your
sweet nephew every chance at life. 

I am very sorry for your loss. I can tell how much you and your sister loved
Jamin. You have my sincere sympathies. 

Was Jamin in the hospital for the whole 5 weeks?

Just wanted to introduce myself...
My name is Stacy and I lost my nephew Jamin to central apnea on Feb.9th.
Jamin had Trisomy 13 and he was 5 weeks old. Jamin was a very special baby!!
I
think I formed a special bond with him when my sister was pregnant and found
out
he had Trisomy 13. I loved him and still love him like he was my own. I am
having a really hard time dealing with his death. My sister is having a hard
time
also which makes it harder on me because I am very close to my sister (my
only sibling) and I can't stand to see her in pain. Any suggestions on how
to
make this any easier please pass them along.
