[tri-wings] Re: Hello

<<<<<<<<Susan, you are so right. None of Dick's family came to the funeral

for Hope. Not one of his brothers or anyone from his family. All of
my family within 300 miles was there, but none of his. They all felt
that this was not really a baby - since it hadn't lived. <<<<<<<<

it is so true and one of the worst things about the Trisomy fun park, we
will all loose are kids at some point and the hurt is the same but others
view it differently. A loss of a child hurts, deeply, it's the loss of a
dream.........when the loss is prenatal or just postnatal people tend to
think well its over for the parents, they did not know the child, but it's
the loss of the dream loss........when you have a child that has a
diagnosis that limits their life.........you live with the loss of the
dream.........anything else is bonus.......but still the loss is hard. I
really have a soft spot for those who lose kids unexpexecantly as I know how
hard it hit us and we knew in the back ground that one day we would loose
her, and I really feel for those family's that loose their kids unexepcltant
locally there was an accident, a tractor trailer could not slow down fast
enough and a 12 year old was killed when his car was rear ended
