[tri-wings] Re: Hello

Hi Amy,

I would guess that this family is too scared to face the possibility of
their baby dying, or they are planning and accepting of what they have probably

been told "certain death" and do not want to hear about the possibility of
hope. I know that the limbo of not knowing is sometimes the most difficult
thing
to bear.

If you would like, my organization Hope for Trisomy 13 and 18 sends Comfy
Cozy Bears, by Gund to anyone who has been diagnosed with T13 or T18. We do
this
in honor of Gemma, my friend Courtney's daughter who was born and died due
to T13 almost one year ago, and we do it free of charge. We do this to provide
hope to those still pregnant and comfort to those already born. We know from
experience that most families facing this diagnosis do not receive gifts for
their baby as people are afraid and do not know what to send. If you wanted,
we could send this per your request, so they could see that you are there if
they need you.

Just email me privately, off list at _midwifehelp@xxxxxxxx
(mailto:midwifehelp@xxxxxxx) to get all the details of how to set this up.
All we need is
their name and address and a bear will be on the way. Our yearly Day of Grace
Golf Tournament raised almost $2000.00 for this and Gund has also donated to
our organization.
