[tri-wings] Re: He hit me, what do I do?

I have a hard time relating to this. I'm a man, yet I won't hit Amy for any
reason whatsoever. I never have and never will and I have a hard time
understanding any man doing so. I do think that he needs help though. Yes,
he is grieving but that is no excuse. What will his excuse be next time, or
will he even need one. I'm sorry for being so blunt but I just wanted to get
those points out in the open.

We are all going through a lot of changes after losing our child, but we
can't let ourselves follow any destructive or abusive patterns. We need to
be supportive of one another but that doesn't mean that we have to "take it"
because we feel that someone is grieving or having problems. As someone
suggested, there are anger management classes for that along with marriage
counseling and other options.
