Trisha-
I have to agree with Sharon. Think about your relationship real
hard. My mother was abused for years, and it started with a simple slap
across the face. She finally left my father. Hitting is no excuse for
anger! My husband and I have had a few serious fights in the three and 1/2
years we've been married, but he has never raised a hand to me. No man, or
woman, has the right to abuse their spouse! AND- you don't deserve to be
treated that way!!! Your husband needs to get help, or things will get
worse- not better, just as Sharon said. If your husband won't listen to
your pleas for him to get help- then find someone that he will listen to.
I pray that your husband will find someone to help him, and I pray that you
have strength to get through this!
