[tri-wings] Graveside Christmas Angel/ Casket Info

Hello Everybody,

I'm mostly a lurker but....this has brought me out.  I just had to share.
Most of you know my oldest daughter has Spina Bifida.  18 1/2 yrs ago I meet
another family whose daughter was born 2 days after Rebecca with Spina
Bifida.  I'm stunned and shocked to say this beautiful young lady passed
away 12-16-06.  She had cellusitis (sp?) on her foot and hand.  They thought
they had the infection under control but didn't.  By the time she was
admitted into the hospital her organs were already very damaged.  I just
can't believe she's gone.  She was playing sled hockey just the week before!

Well the link below is what I had my florist add to a beautiful basket for
the funeral home.  There was moss in the front and evergreens and a few
poinsettia's in the back.

I'm going to go back and get one for our Magdalena's grave.  I hope it can
bring the same joy to one of you.

I also found out that they have began to make infant caskets. The infant
caskets are about $400.00 with shipping.  They are made out of beautiful
wood.  I have inquired about one for our Rebecca.  Even though she's
"stable" it could change.  The casket we picked out already is $6,000.00 for
$4,000.00 less we can order one for Rebecca.  I like that better! Caskets
DON'T have to be ordered from the funeral home and these are beautiful.
