[tri-wings] Fwd: Looking for a "fathers" poem from Michelle

Hello everybody out there!

I live in Germany and have been on this list since March. Uptil now I've
only been kind of "nosey" reading all the e-mails. (Sorry about that!) But I
find them very interesting and some of them are very comforting. One of the
first things I read in this list was a poem to a father. I really liked it
and would like to give it to my husband on father's day. I thought I had
saved it on the computer but apparently I didn't; at least I can't find it
anymore and I can't remember who sent it. If anybody knows which poem I mean
I would really appreciate it if he or she could send it to me. Maybe someone
even has other poems which would be appropriate.

Oh, by the way if anybody's interested: My son, Marcel, was stillborn in the
38th week on 17th September 2000. We only found out that he had full T 18 in
the 32nd week. We then prepared everything we could. We had a wonderful time
with him and my husband was able to stay with us overnight. We also had a
very understanding midwife who really did her best to make sure we did have
a nice time with him. (She even congratulated us!!) We took loads of
pictures and one of them I've hung up in the living-room so that everybody
can see how cute he was. I am so proud of him! But which mother isn't proud
of her children?
