Fawna,
The first time that I saw it, I did not think risque! But it did
sound strange. I associated it with the Flower Child of the 70's.
And even though there may have been some unfavorable connotations to
Flower Child, I never thought of it in that way. I just cannot see a
person in a business suit or even a woman at home taking care of
children with a name like Fawna. I expected you to be out on the
streets selling your wares or your "ideas" to the public.
Now, I really like the name. And to see Shirley, which I have been
called often- even by one of my principals at school, looked very
strange. It didn't seem like you.
