Dear friends,
I have been given permission to forward the joyous news about the adoption of 
Mollie, age 12 months and full T13. I wonder if this is a first?
 
Mollie was initially taken in by her foster family and not expected to live 
long but when she did, the state wanted to put her up for adoption. Her family 
said, "no way!"
 
The evident joy in the announcement causes me to remember what I was told one 
of the physicians involved in Annie's health mis-management  said in an 
internal meeting, "But who would want a child like that, anyways?"
 
The Coroner is still investigating Annie's death. Initially we were told it 
would be complete by Sept/Oct but it has become, "long and very complicated" 
and will still be several more months.

We are so very excited and proud.  There has been a huge fuss around here, the 
kids yelling and jumping up and down, Dave and I in tears, and Mollie just 
sitting there looking at us like "what is the fuss, I knew I was staying the 
day I came."
