[tri-wings] Erin's birthday and Ashlyn update

Thanks Sheila, Louanne, and Kathy for the kind thoughts on Erin's  
birthday--it always means alot!
I'm terrible at getting messages sent. I always feel I want to do them  
ON the day, but when it comes I don't always go online, so I miss some.
Ashlyn and I got home this evening after being gone since Sat nite to  
the hospital.  Ashlyn was having much pain last Tues, and a trip to  
the doctor resulted in her being sent home with ulcer medicine. Well,  
that didn't even seem to touch the pain.  Friday I called and they  
added another med.  Then Saturday it bothered off and on, but by Sat.  
nite it was really bad --she was in agony, and when I touched a spot  
on her upper right abdomen she about leaped off the couch. I called  
the doctor and she said it almost sounded like gall bladder and bring  
her in(a 45 minute drive).  The er doc on call said he wanted to do a  
cat scan to see just what the problem was.  Turned out there  was a  
2-inch cyst on her overy.  she was kept in the hospital for pain  
control and some ultrasounds to check things and definitely rule out  
gall bladder. The cyst was removed this morning and she is now home  
recovering.   Kim came home sunday and that left me with no car, but  
he came down yesterday to pick up a door for the church, so I went  
home with him and drove back so we'd have a vehicle to get home with  
once she got sprung.
We're both glad to be home!
