[tri-wings] Re: Emotions

Dear Georgiann,
All of what you are thinking and feeling sounds like a normal grief reaction
to me it has been less than a month since your precious Lauren left you. We
have all had the shoulda, woulda, couldas in relation to our kids. As I
said this is all part of the grieving process along with denial and
anger......It just takes time and how long is like asking how long is a
piece of string. Allow yourself to feel sad, it's ok to cry.. and don't
think you have to be strong for your other kids, you don't have to
completely fall apart to grieve effectively, sure things are confused right
now and that's 'normal' but they will improve as you allow yourself time.
These next weeks and months are going to be really tough especially as first
birthdays, holidays and family traditions start to occur without Lauren.
All the firsts are the hardest...... Lauren will always be part of your life
and family and she will never leave your mind for more than a minute or a
millisecond but it does get easier.. still now 16 years down the track
sometimes I can talk about Louise just fine, others I am a mess. You will
always be Lauren's wonderful mummy and I'm sure she's looking down from
heaven thanking you for the opportunity of life itself.

Don't worry about the world coming to an end tomorrow it's already tomorrow
