Deanna,
I agree--we'll never be the same, will we?  Erin was born in Nov. and I
always refer to the months before she was born as our time of "blissful
ignorance".  It affects our families, too.  My oldest son Loren said when he
had his kids that he didn't count fingers, but checked to make sure they all
pointed in the right direction.
I'm so sorry you had the scarey dream, but I'm sure common sense tells you
it's normal to worry.  And maybe if you try not to worry during waking
hours, it has to come out somewhere else, like in your dreams.
