Shelly,
I wish my mother could show a bit more emotion, but she's 78 and grew up in
an era where you didn't talk about things like that and kept your emotions
bottled up.  I should have had a twin brother, but at a certain point in the
pregnancy he quit developing.  My mother knows very little details, because
in those days you just accepted what and as much as the doctors told you.
And you certainly didn't ask questions because doctors are busy people!!
My mother talks very little of Erin and then it's only if I bring her up.
MIL is very good about sending flowers on special days.
So I suppose the point I'm making is that when I'm that age I should know
enough to be perfect.  Yeah, right!!!
