Bess brought up a very big point. When Savannah passed away, I didn't want
T-18 to be listed on the death certificate because that was not her cause of
death. I spoke with her pediatrician (one very incredible help!) who was
the one that was to complete and sign the death certificate. He said he
would not list T-18 as the cause of death but as a contributing factor. Her
cause of death was listed as Congestive Heart Failure, and T-18 as a
contributing factor. He said that the only reason he listed this was so
that when they pull death certificate reasons on infants, they can start to
see that the statistics they are reading are incorrect and these children do
survive.
Darcy - Mommy to my sweet angel, Savannah Kristyne (T-18 ^i^ 12/12/00 -
6/15/01) wife to my wonderful soulmate, Don.
