[tri-wings] Re: Deanna, Gloria, Susan...

Thanks so much to everyone who replied to my post. I certainly wasn't
complaining about anyone on this list. I was more upset about my family
and friends off list that didn't recognize Grace's angel day. I sort of
expect it from my husband...he's been that way almost since day one. I
know, Deanna, men deal differently with grief. But was sort of
surprised by my Mom, sister, close friends, etc. =20

Funny enough, this year just felt different all together. I don't know
if it's because it's now been 4 years, or if it's because we were so
busy with Matthew starting Kindergarten this year, or what. It just
didn't seem as painful this time. I think that's why I said in my
earlier post that I was just sort of numb. I guess life truly does just
go on. Previous years almost the entire month of August I could feel
myself starting to break down as we got closer to the 31st. Truly
almost a physical reaction. This year was totally different.
So...maybe it's a good thing that no one remembered??? =20

Anywho...just wanted to say thanks to all of you. More times than not
you guys and your posts are the ones that get me through to the next day
and I appreciate you all more than you know!

Hugs,

Brenda - wife to Rich, mommy to Matthew Alexander(5), Grace Alexandra
(^i^ 8/31/03 full T-13) and Nicholas Andrew (3!)

Yes, I was thinking of you and your family last week. Hope your days
went by=20
gently.=20
This is the first day I've been on the computer in over a week--Kim and
I went=20
on a road trip Wed thru Monday, down thru Missouri to pick up an outside

furnace for our meat store, and also did alot of antiquing. Came back
thru SE=20
Iowa where we attended an "Old threshers' Show".=20
It was a peaceful relaxing trip.
Sorry I didn't send a note before we took off, especially since no one
else=20
did. I'm also sure it's hard when those special days fall on holiday
weekends. =20
Everyone else is busy celebrating the longweekend, and your mind is on
your=20
precious little angel.
Hugs to you and your family,
Gloria--mommy to angel Erin
