Hi, yes it is very common most babies don't die from it any more. But as
with any thing some still do. I believe there is a 1 in 100 chances of
having a baby with ABS not sure of that though. It's not genetic in any
way but does happen around 6 weeks in pregnancy. Rachel was 1 in a
million to have as much wrong with her as she had most do not have the
problems she had and can live. I well send you her story if you would
like to read it. Thanks for asking and sorry to hear your sister in-law
had to face this also. Did her baby live and do ok? If I can help in any
way I would be more then happy to.
