Thanks to all for continuing to help me keep Jordan's memory alive by
mentioning him this week. It's been 20 years ago, ladies - that I went
through what most of you all have gone through since, and some of you just
so recently....I am so terriby sorry for your losses..
I found Tri-Wings at a time in my life after (the loss of Jordan, two
divorces and a myriad of homes and jobs). I had finally settled and was
able to reflect on my experiences. Also, because we also carry the
Robertsonian Translocation ( My middle son, daughter and myself have tested
postively ) it was very important to me to keep as abreast as possible on
our Angel's World, as it seems we might be destined to experience it again
within our own family, unless I can convince my children that adoption IS
the KEY! Of course, I didn't set a good example, so... BUT, I found
Tri-Wings especially for that fact that someone else - just like me - KNEW
the pain that I went through and the feelings that I had (and yes - still
have...) 20 years prior.... you cannot imagine that finding a group of
similarly experienced people can bring such peace in your life; and your
heart cries out that these same similary experienced people even HAVE that
experience. But, thank God for all of you. And, thank God for our Angels -
that by their births and our great losses, that we can grow and share and
love...more abundantly and even differently than we were able to before.
Jordan, son....you're a man now. Your brothers would be so proud. Your
little sister never knew you but talks of you as if you hung out with the
other two all of the time. And, hey, what do I know? You probably all
do...but if that's true, my sweet son...don't forget to wear your seatbelt
and mind your curfew. I miss you today as much as yesterday and always as
much as tomorrow....forever and ever more.
