Hi Brenda,

I tend to lurk but I wanted to pop out and share with you what Alan and =
I do
to remember Zachary.

Because of the wonderful care Zachary received from the staff at the =
NICU,
every year for Zachary's birthday we buy lunch for the doctors and =
nurses
there.  For his first "birthday" I had also bought books, blankets, =
cameras
etc...to be passed out to parents and their babies in the NICU.  The =
staff
appreciates the lunch so much.  Some even remember who we are and they
remember Zachary being there.  It always brings tears to my eyes to do =
it,
but it also gives me a chance to go back to where Zachary was. The =
sounds
and the scent invoke bittersweet memories of our time there.  However, I
never want Zachary forgotten and if it means buying lunch to have people
remember him on his special day, then so be it.  I figure that if he =
were
physically with me, I'd be having a birthday party anyway so why not =
lunch
for the people who cared for him. =20

I am sending warm thoughts your way and pray that Grace's heavenly =
birthday
is a gentle one. =20
