[tri-wings] Re: Birth Plans/ also Terri K.

Hi Everybody:
 
My plans were:
 
-Decorate her room as if we were going to have her here (in fact she is enjoing 
it!)
-Explain to the doctors( Neonatalist, gynecologist, everybody) what we wanted 
to be done and have them write it down so there was not misunderstanding.  We 
didn't want her to survived attached to machines, if she were going to survive 
had to be in her own. She did!
-Organice her baptism at the Hospital so she were baptize in case something 
happened. She was baptized in an emergency, her second day of birth and from 
there on she started recovering and next saturday June 28 we are having her 
party (almost 8 month later)
-I asked permission for my others two kids so they missed school and were there 
at the hospital to meet her sister in case she didn't make it at home.
We took both cameras photo and video to the hospital to take as many pics as 
possible to have the best souvenirs.
My sister prepare some favors for the people who visited us! and my husband 
had a dominican box of cigars to give to his friends.
I didn't buy too many things (clothes and toys) just the necessary and I got so 
many gifts that I still have some clothes waiting for her to grow up a little 
bit more 
 
That's what I can remember we did!
And I am enjoying her as much as I can. She is adorable on her 7 month!

Eric Cugurs my soulmate and incredible partner!

Hey I have a family here in Oregon that has been giving the t-18 diagnosis
and wanted ideas with a  birth plan. I never made it that far since Abby
only made it to 29 weeks. Can anyone who is will e-mail me off list theirs
so I may help this family with some idea to help them build their birth
plan.
 

Terri, Do you mind if I share your e-mail and picture of Krissy from this
last summer at Abby's birthday with this family. They would like to hear
from another family with a living child and you are the closest one to them.


 

Thanks all for your help in advance. I will not be meeting with them on
Sunday.
