[tri-wings] Best Christmas News Ever

Hi all,
We just had our family's Christmas gathering this past weekend in Des
Moines.  After opening our gifts, Cheryl and Denny told us that Hope is
going to have a little brother or sister in August.  Both Dick and I cried.
And hugged them.  But I know they are both really scared.  Probably Denny
more than Cheryl.  He was very quiet.

Then, with my brother, sister, mom, and nephew and families, they told them
also.  What a great gift!  My husband couldn't wait.  He had to call his
brothers.  Couldn't even let Cheryl do the telling.  Thank goodness that
when we were out spending our gift certificate for our new house fan, our
son and Cadence called to "talk".  Cheryl got to ask Cadence if she wanted a
new cousin.  And she said, "Yeh!  And we are going to have a baby, too."
She was so excited for Cheryl.  And I'm sure that Wade and Charity wished
they could have been there, but she has been feeling so awful during this
pregnancy.  Just like she did with Cadence.  She will be extremely happy
when the baby is born.

I just couldn't wait to share our good news even though Cheryl said they
weren't going to start sharing with anyone else for a while yet.  Please
keep them in your prayers.  I know you all will.  Thanks so much for being
there.
