Congratulations! And keep us up to date on the progress. It will be
nice to add a little pink to the mix.

And thanks for the good wishes. I shouldn't complain about my kids.
They are actually pretty good about calling. In fact, Wade called me
BACK after I left a message on his cell phone today to call and asked
all of the right questions, etc. Then, a little later, his wife
called to see how I was doing. Cheryl called tonight to tell me that
she was locked out of her house. She had had a mishap backing out of
their narrow garage and her car, along with her garage opener and
house key, was in the dealership garage. She was using a rental.
The new programming device that they have on the outside of their
garage wouldn't let her in. At 8:30, she called back to tell me that
she finally had to call a locksmith who picked the lock and she and
Ali had just gotten in. Denny is in Pennsylvania this week. The
neighbor who is the Fire Chief came over to reprogram her garage door
opener. Thank goodness for Rick. Cheryl just gets flustered and
can't think when things like that happen. And I guess I do, too. I
know that she would have been able to figure out how to set the key
panel before IF she would have taken the time to read the directions.

I was just complaining because it seems that they don't call just to
chat - like my mom used to do. And I should be able to understand
that since it is either cell phone time or long distance. And the
"chat" thing must be from the older generation, not the 30's
generation. I guess I was also upset because Dick never asks how
things went at the doctor's office. He doesn't go with me and he
never asks. He heard me tell Wade tonight, otherwise he probably
still wouldn't know. I told him that he never knows because he
doesn't ever ask. And I need him to ask. Gosh, I really feel like a
wimp right now. Men!

The Sanford helicopter woke me up from a really sound sleep. (It
goes directly over our house - about 30 feet up. We are directly
south of the heliport for the hospital.) It was a long day, so I am
going to try to go back to sleep.
