[tri-wings] Back from Indonesia

I have already made a few posts but David, Jesse and I came back from Indo on 
Thursday.  David bought back a souvenir..... a fractured L wrist which may need 
pinning and plating on Thursday.  I say may because he is booked for a CT scan 
tomorrow and we will see from there.  It has made life pretty difficult because 
he can't drive so the two L platers have been getting heaps of practice, in 
fact, Jen is driving him to his appointment in the morning (you might say a 
prayer for them because it's a 40-45 minute drive and then a park in a very 
tight car park!!!).  He fell through a roof 3.5 metres flat on his back onto a 
tiled floor he missed landing on a concrete beam and stacked desks by 
centimetres!!!  Praise God his back has been fine his neck has been giving him 
curry since he got the backslab (half-plaster) put on as it is quite heavy!!!
I start back on night duty tonight.  We have all been struggling since we got 
back with lack of sleep, diarrhoea and emotionally drained.  We were working 
amongst the poorest of the poor in Indonesia and literally fell in love with 
them.  There were several kids I just wanted to bring home with me.  But we 
achieved heaps the building team put down 12 concrete columns and the medical 
team saw heaps of tooth decay, TB, respiratory problems, hernias, wounds and 
skin diseases.  We are all (we were among a team of 18 people) keen to return 
and consolidate the work.
Don't worry about the world coming to an end tomorrow it's already tomorrow in 
Australia
