was on Alimentum for her first year, but it was paid for through WIC, so I
really couldn't complain, and she did really well on it. When I had Kayleigh
I tried unsuccessfully to nurse her, so I found out the hard way that she
had an allergy to milk and soy based formulas. She was put on Alimentum, its
$25 a can here (no WIC this time!!), for 4 months, and it helped her so much
with her stomach problems. Now that she is 5 months old, she has been weaned
onto Good Start Soy and so far so good. I just hope we don't have too much
of a problem switching to milk at a year old.

That's ironic - the exact same story!!! I was introduced to Alimentum
through a friend of mine that has a 5 year old T18 girl. That's what she
feeds her. I don't know what is in it or not in it that the others have but
it was a lifesaver. It's kind of funny that you switched to Good Start
also - which here is the cheapest one - Isomil just tore her up as well as
Enfammil's soy version.
I have to apologize if this is offending anyone, I know we all would love to
have these issues rather than the pain of not feeding our angels at all.
