[tri-wings] Awareness in the State of Virginia!

Hello everyone!
Have you ever walked into Wal-Mart and have seen the Children's Miracle Network 
hot air balloon or holiday themed support sheets that you can purchase or at 
Walgreen's have you seen the tennis shoe, "Walk to Cure Diabetes", that you can 
purchase to support the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation???  Well, Noah's Never 
Ending Rainbow is piloting a similar Trisomy fundraiser/awareness campaign in 
the State of Virginia!  

Noah's Never Ending Rainbow has teamed up with Pizza Plus, a local pizza chain 
in Virginia, where you can purchase a support sheet for a minimum donation of 
$1.00!  On the support sheet there is a line which reads, "Proudly Supported 
By:  __________________" wherein the donor/supporter writes their name showing 
their support and Pizza Plus will hang it on the wall!  Plus, an added bonus to 
the donor/supporter, our support sheets have a perforated Pizza Plus coupon 
that the donor/supporter can tear off and use on their next pizza purchase! 

The fundraiser/awareness campaign is being spear-headed by our Virginia State 
Advocate for Noah's Never Ending Rainbow who is also Daddy to Zion who has 
Trisomy 13, Jamie Lint!  Jamie, his wife Kristie and their family reside in 
Richlands, Virginia.  A special THANK YOU goes out to Jamie, Kristie and their 
family for volunteering their time to support the efforts of Noah's Never 
Ending Rainbow, a national Trisomy organization with our mission to educate, 
advocate, raise public awareness, promote strategic alliances and assist 
families who have children with Trisomy and related chromosome disorders. 

The awareness campaign has kicked off at Pizza Plus in Claypool Hill, Virginia 
and will filter into the other stores throughout the next two weeks.  All funds 
raised from this fundraiser/awareness campaign will be earmarked for our 
"Family Assistance" program.

If you, a family member or friend live in the Virginia area, please stop by one 
of the participating Pizza Plus establishments and show your support!!!

If anyone is interested is conducting a similar Trisomy fundraiser/awareness 
campaign in your hometown, just let me know!  Together, we will make a 
difference!
