<<PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE tell the Wings List that I am very sorry if I imposed
on their support time and
that it was wholly inadvertent and will not happen again.>>
Dear Karen, Steph & All -
I'm still very new, and, lurk most of the time - because I have a slightly
shy nature. BUT I have to say something to Steph here that comes from the
heart.
I was one of the moms in Wings Chat last night - and the thought that Steph
was there, and has a living Partial Trisomy Child, and for whatever reason,
didn't belong there - DID NOT EVEN CROSS MY MIND! In fact, I wonder if
Steph knows - and if not, then I must tell her - how important it is to ME
(and possibly others..) to HEAR how her child is doing, growing,
learning....bad or good!
Our children - the Wings Children - are no longer with us, that is true.
But, my son Jordan lives in all of the children that ARE alive....and by
hearing from their experiences with their children, I can be even closer to
my son....
Please, please Steph - do not ever feel that you should not be in the Wings
Chat. If you notice sensitive conversation going on and feel more
comfortable bowing out, then do so! But, I feel comfortable in speaking for
most of us - we care how you and your entire family are doing and handling
your unique situation. Always, always feel as a friend...
Lets not mention that you are also a NORTH TEXAS MOM!!!!! (yeah, us!!! )
Teri Pratt-Yates - Dallas, Garland, TX, USA
