Atousa...I am in absolute shock...kinda...Congrats to both of you on the
big marriage...can't believe you didn't let me know so I could have been
there...sigh...

Guess I will update everyone myself...This is the third time I have tried
to send it thru, and maybe it will get thru this time...

First of all, Deana, Michelle, and Bridget...I am so sorry to hear about
your little ones gaining their wings. It never gets easy to say that, I
think because every time we do, it just reminds us how unfair life can
be...You all will be in my thoughts and prayers...

Update on the little man...It has been a while since I have sent one
in...He is getting ready to turn 11 months old (you think YOU are having a
hard time believing that??) He is such a sweetheart, and I thank God for
my baby everytime I look at him...I just love him to pieces. He is still
just as chubby as ever, but starting to slow down a little. He has been at
23 lbs. for the last 3 months. He is crawling everywhere, getting into
everything, seen and unseen, trying to walk, and has managed to take 3
steps so far. Problem is, he realizes that crawling is still the quickest
way for him to get where he wants to go, so he collapses on his knees and
off he goes! :o) Went to the doc a couple of weeks ago, and she told me
that he is perfect health. It meant so much to hear her say that.
Everytime that she does, I think of how it could have been. After you have
lost a child, you appreciate something like that a whole lot more...He has
6 teeth and counting, and likes to chew on everything...the latest is when
he was laying on my belly and chomped down on my boob...(he had to really
be looking... ;o) You talk about coming unglued! His middle name has
become "nono".. :o)He is really a good baby though, and everyone absolutely
adores him. He is spoiled rotten by young and old alike from the folks at
church, and the family is no help...LOL...

We had our first major incident last week...I heard a loud roar and went
running into the bathroom to find Jake sitting on the floor with a broken
water pipe in his hands, and water absolutely gushing out of the wall. It
took forever to run out to the edge of our property and shut the well off,
and get that crazy thing fixed...sigh...That kid is a mess...He was just
sitting there and enjoying the bath!

We took a shower a couple of weeks ago, and I looked down into the bottom
of the shower and found that he had pooped everywhere...and he was playing
in it...wouldn't you know, noone was there to help me, so you can imagine
how long it took to clean me, him, and the shower stall up...LOL!!!

The floods that came thru our region 2 weeks ago done some damage on our
house also...Thank God that it didn't do what it did to some...I count
myself lucky...I take that back...BLESSED! Jacob's room got a major leak
in it, and flooded the entire corner of the room before I finally realized
it. Fortunately, it didn't mess up the mural on the walls that I spent
hours and hours on, but the ceiling will have to be replaced, along with
the carpet, and the roof majorly fixed. I have had to move all of his
stuff out of the room because it smells like a swamp in there. It rained
yesterday and the day before pretty hard, and it leaked thru again. The
ceiling is sagging pretty bad now. I just groan when I look at it, because
at the rate my DH goes (as most of you know) it will be finished by the
time I turn 30...WE have so much work to do...

Greg woke up the other day to the dogs barking like crazy, and went out to
find that they had treed a large snake in our front yard's plum tree. Mind
you, Jacob and I go outside and play almost everyday. We have never had
snakes up in the front yard, probably because of the dogs. In our house,
yes, but not in the yard...LOL...Turned out, Mr Snake wasn't a chicken
snake like it was last time, but a cottonmouth, or water moccassin,
depending on where you are from. That happens to be one of the deadliest
snakes around our part of the country besides the diamond-back...I think
that I will be calling the dogs to stay nearby from now on when we go
outside! What do you think? :o)

I got bit the day before yesterday by a spider or something, still really
don't know, just can see the mark. My upper lip swelled up to probably 3
times it's normal size...You talk about horrendous looking! I was
mortified when I saw it in the mirror. I laid in bed with an icepack for
probably 3 hours and it never even reduced the swelling. Finally called and
talked to a nurse, and after taking some Benedryl, almost 11 hours later it
started going down. I have a big mark on my lip that is the result of it,
but I am sooooooo glad that the big lip didn't stay! You all would have
been scared off! :o)

Well, as you all can see, not much has been happening...GUess it has just
been a while since I have sent in an update. But this is all I can think
of right now...If I can think of anything else, I will be sure to let you
know...

oh, BTW, Mandy, listmum ain't the only one keeping her eye on you...tsk tsk
tsk...You are such a trouble maker... :o) Get rid of everything but the
chocolate, and I might come to the party... :o) You'd better behave
yourself...

If anyone would like for me to send them a few updated pics of Jake, I have
some wonderful pics that were taken on Mother's Day...Let me know and I
will send them to you....I am on my hubby's laptop since my computer is
still down, but will get them out as soon as I can...

Hope everyone is doing well...I am trying to keep up with the main things,
but know that I have missed out on some stuff...But I haven't forgotten you
all!!

Take care
Angie and Jake
