[tri-wings] Re: Annalis

Hi Paul...I had my tubes tied when Rebecca was born. She was diagnosed
at 4 months gestation with Hydracephalus and at 5 months with T18. I
needn't tell you the agony a mom goes through during a pregnancy like
that, and I was sure that I would NEVER want to do that again. I had
Rebecca when I had just turned 40, so I felt that I would be tempting
fate to try again, so we made the decision to do it. That said, it is
my ONLY REGRET as far as Rebecca is concerned....my agony now is knowing
I will never have another child...:-(....so, I agree with you.....it is
so final, and at the time maybe is the only way out. I think that you
are so out of control of your life at that time, that you try anything
to regain control, and that is one way of doing it (well, not really,
but you think it is!!)....

I was against tying her tubes. I apologize in advance for what I am =3D

punishment. Yes, sometimes they =3D do cause us to look outside of our
selfishness, but I think it would be a lonely existence to be without
children and grandchildren.=3D20
