Gloria & family,

I'll be thinking about you this week as you celebrate the birth of Erin.
I KNOW that your whole family misses her and thinks of her often.  Here
is hoping that she showing my granddaughter, Hope Margaret, how to
celebrate
with ice cream and cake.   And that she gives you several tinks this
week.

I wanted to bring a hot fudge sundae from the DQ to the cemetery
lastweekend, but I couldn't find a DQ close enough so that it wouldn't
melt before I got there.  This is the time of year that the caretakers
do not let anything stay on the graves - From Oct 1 - Dec. 1.  I guess
they think that people don't visit loved ones at that time.  But I
thought a sundae would be devoured by the birds or other small animals
and not be taken by a human scavanger.  And I wanted to share an ice
cream with my granddaughter!
