An angel's soul was brought down to my eyes
A time so short but my love never dies
A child that touched, and changed my life
You had to leave, despite my strife
Still you are here with me today
Holding my heart in every way
When the shadows swallow the light
And the stars open so bright
I know that you are there to put my mind at ease
and blow a kiss with the evening breeze
