Yes, Gloria, I did make reservations for Friday thru Monday. Dick
and I both have medical appointments on Friday, so it didn't seem
worth it to drive home for the night. But things have changed
drastically at this household.

My b-i-l and s-i-l have told Dick that they are planning on coming
that weekend. He works for the post office and rarely gets a day
off, let alone 2 or 3 in a row. He is low man on the totem pole, so
he works a split shift. Dick didn't tell him that we weren't going
to be home. A kick in the right place didn't seem like it would do
any good. And Tracy does have their yearly celebration over Labor
Day weekend. (World's Only Boxcar Days) It starts Saturday and ends
Monday. Everybody returns to town that weekend to get caught up on
the goings on and visit with old friends and relatives.

My son and d-i-l sold their house two weeks ago without even listing
it. They had been planning to, just hadn't gotten that far yet. And
so, they don't yet have a place to live. They had been looking, so
that helps. But they have to be out of their house by August 31st.
That doesn't give them much time. I figured that Dick could be
helping them move that weekend. But he has completely put that out
of his head.

I will be at the hotel at least on Sunday. I want to stay for
Monday. And I definitely want to be there for the "little ceremony"
or whatever you guys have cooked up. I'm anxious to see Robyn and
her daughter again. And very anxious to meet Marianne, Stacey, and
LouAnn (is she coming????).
