[tri-wings] Re: 3 more weeks

Hi Nancy,
Great suggestion! I thought about it before Mother's Day. But my
cast extends about an inch beyond my big toe, so I'd only be able to
do one foot. I just didn't want to pay for a full pedicure (and I'd
have to drive 25 miles to get one) when I would only be able to get
one foot done. But the different colors is intriguing. I might just
be able to go for that.

I did convince my hubby to let me get out of the car and go into Wal-
Mart to go shopping on the electric cart after I got the new cast.
That sounds pretty domineering and IT IS. He is thinking about the $
$ I'll spend. He didn't think I needed to go shopping at all. My s-
i-l told me to give him a list of all sorts of unmentionables and he
would get over it. Dick has been very helpful at home, but the
rented wheelchair is very heavy and clumsy. He is on lots of heart
medication and gets really tired really easily. He is just as tired
of it as I am. And I know that lots of you out there put up with lots
more equipment than a wheelchair. I also know I wouldn't have had my
husband's support if I would have been the one having the child with
the trisomy. He was not supportive of Cheryl, except in her loss.

I bought my daughter-in-law's bd present (late) and flowers for my
outdoor vases, vitamins, printer ink, and candy. Nothing earth
shattering!! I just had fun buzzing around on their cart. My
daughter thinks I ought to sign up for a commercial since I got so
excited about just going shopping at Wal-Mart. She thinks I am way
too excited about it. Offered me a non-paying job working at my
computer for her to calm me down! :-(
