Marianne,
Wow, that must have been really hard. I'm sure that you were a good
listener and I know that just having you make the phone call was
comfort to her. Just remember back. Anyone who calls or comes over
is a great relief and brings you some peace. God knows how hard it
is to talk about our sorrow so he sometimes just wants us to be
there. I'm sure that you said and did the right things. Not just
because I'm saying the words, but because I've met the caring person
that you are.

You might want to tell her that just being with her makes you relive
all of the pains and joy you had with Christian. That might help her
to understand that you are not just another person offering sympathy
with no understanding.

Hugs,
Sheila Helleson
