[tri-med] update-Annie & Coroner

 
Dear Friends, 

  

A brief update on the coroner and Annie.(Internet access is very limited on
holidays!) 

  

We had a 3 hour meeting with the deputy chief coroner and the regional
coroner and assistant this week. They said that there is most definitely
cause for a full investigation. They will have all the diagnostic films
re-read by the appropriate experts and prepare a summary which will be
presented to the Pediatric Death Review Committee in October. The reputation
of the Coroner is excellent and he is known in all circles as a physician of
the utmost integrity. 

  

Based on the summary of this committee,  we will explore further the option
of an inquest.
