Well, I made one more week - I'm now 37 weeks along! I went in for my
appointment this morning expecting that they would look at inducing me (because
of Jeremiah's apparent weight stagnation), but when they examined my cervix
they decided I was so tight that it would be an awful job getting me into
labour, and they didn't want to take the risk of a failed induction - SOOOO we
wait! The good news is that his heart, the cord, and his movements all show
perfect signs of health, and although I look as big as a house, I'm doing fine
physically as well. (My mother-in-law says when I sit on the couch she can see
Jeremiah and hiding somewhere behind is me - its a pretty accurate description,
given how short I am!)
Thanks to everyone who has provided answers to my questions the last few days -
I don't get a chance to answer each one individually, but they are appreciated
very much!
I will keep you all updated when something interesting finally decides to
happen, but at the moment it looks like it could still be a couple or three
weeks! (I don't think they'll let me go past 40 weeks, but who knows?)
