[tri-med] update from hospital

thank you all for your thoughts and prayers. hannah is still in the
hospital and the good news is that now the pulmonoligist thinks it
ISN'T pneumonia! the bad news is that we don't exactly know what it is.
they did a urine culture but we are still waiting for the results from
that. so far nothing explains the fever. they also did a abdominal x-
ray last night as we had another spat of her vomiting episodes. this is
a "new" crew to her and they are seeing this for the first time. last
night she had two where, the second time, even with the vent tube in
place she pushed 35-40 cc out the tube and vomited a good bit out her
mouth. fortunately her nurse was here in the room with us and saw it.

donn and i have both been able to stay with her. they haven't opened
the new rooms haven't opened yet but they are trying to use the
existing rooms as "private." we have a hospital bed and a fold out
chair and two rockers. donn has his laptop with so he can work from
here (since he teaches online) and he has let me log on to check e-
mail. don't know how much i'll be able to get on (only one phone line
so when we are online no one can reach us) but i'll try and keep in
touch.

i did get more fabric squares so anyone i owe a square, they will go
out in the next couple days. i did happen to have gina's envelope here
so, gina, yours will go out as soon asn i get to a mailbox! some of the
squares have started coming in and they are beautiful. i'd like to ask
anyone who is doing one to please sign it! (if you didn't and i have it
already, don't worry, i'll put your name on it for you.) this will be
soooo special for hannah! thank you, thank you, thank you!!!
