Exactly!
I had this discussion with a friend of mine who works in an OB/Gyn's office
approx. 6 months ago. They'd recently had a patient with a amnio dx of
trisomy 18. I discussed 'stuff' regarding that (you all know the details)
and asked if the drs in the practice give the patients any info such as SOFT
etc.
My friends reply, "No, because those babies don't live so the drs always
tell them to terminate". I also asked if they send the patient to a
geneticist and they never ever do.
AAARRRRGGGGHHHHH
You know what? I tried to put a face on the whole thing with Alex but she
just didn't get it!!!
