Yeah, well Dr GP prefers not to get involved with that part of my
anatomy, which is just fine with me (he's my age, amusing, etc.),
so until I tracked down my new woman GYN I hadn't had a PAP
again for 5-6 yrs. Sometime before we moved up here in '01.
I had a different OB with Thom, but he was soooo bad I refused to
EVER see him again. Dr K then delivered both of my girls, and he
was a full service OB/GYN. Might have something to do with my
choice of health plans. I steer as clear of Kaiser and HMO's as
possible. My friend JoAnne ran into the different doctor each time
problem with Kaiser, to the point of even having a different doctor
do the delivery than the one she'd seen in clinic for all her prenatal
care. Thing is too that Dr G is a for real 'country doctor' and I don't
think his office even has a table with stirups.
