missing corpus callosum, eye opacity,
Hi Katy and welcome to our group!
I am Laurie. I have 3 girls with special needs and a son that is
'normal'....whatever that is? lol
My 7 year old is also missing her corpus callosum. I still don't know how
that affects her though. We adopted her a year ago, so I am still learning
about
her. I get so frustrated with having so little information on her
disabilities, but then have to remember she is very 'new' to me!
She also has Septo Optic Dysplasia..........is that what your son has? They
say her optic nerves are very blond??
I also have a 17yr old daughter with Trisomy 9p. She has many skeletal
issues....one of them being osteoporosis.
Maybe we can talk and bounce idea's off one another. I am a foster parent
with another adoption in process....actually wrapping up tomorrow, so do not
get
on the computer as much as I would like!
Maybe my life will slow down one day?? .....probably wishful thinking! lol
Again, welcome!
Laurie
