Interesting....Dom had chicken pox a couple of months before he joined our
family and I think it was a fairly mild case. He had just a couple of scars.
But, before he went into residential treatment, we got him all of his Hepatitis
immunizations...Doc checked for immunity a couple of months ago and guess what?
Nothing. It is as if he never had the shots. So he is supposed to start all
over again. Faily doc no longer does the hep shots because I guess they are
expensive and medicaid doesn't like to pay for them or pays too little. So he
has
to go to public health clinic and the guy who runs the group home is supposed
to take him for the shots and for his TB test. He hasn't yet, so guess I will
have to let Regional Center worker know. Dom does not like shots and is just
as happy that it seems to have been forgotten. He for sure won't remind
anyone.

Nan.....Mom to Dom; Trisomy 18 Mosaic & Bipolar Disorder. 22 years old
