I wanted to add that I have heard COUNTLESS stories of ultrasound results indicating possible problems when nothing is actually wrong. Sometimes the drs found a few findings which they thought would indicate a problem but actually indicated nothing. Sometimes the drs thought they found a finding, but the ultrasound was actually wrong. Since my experience with Caroline, right about some, wrong about some (misdiagnosed hypoplastic left heart, by different TWO cardiologists), and the other stories I have since heard, I have very little confidence in ultrasound results. They have scared too many parents unnecessarily! I almost forego the routine ultrasound during my pregnancy with Kallie, but chickened out at the last minute and went ahead with it.
