Why are you looking at 4 or 5 pairs of shoes sweet? I guess at that age Alex
would go through 2 or 3 pairs of sneakers a year.
I am afraid though I dont know a great deal about orthopedic shoes through the
US system. Here in Australia we buy our own as no one
subsidises shoes.
Is there any other reason that he can't wear sandals? Alex does wear sandals
but shouldn't (shhhh dont tell the physio) His ankles
are so weak and low toned and the sandals provide no support for his ankles.

Long term though you really may need to see an orthopedic surgeon about your
options for his toes. Have you seen anyone? Depending
on the problem (that is if its boney or soft tissue) it may not be a huge deal
to correct them.

Don't you just love it when no-one knows who is supposed to be doing what!!!
I hope they get their acts together for both your sakes soon sweet.........

If you look up, there are no limits.
