Interestingly last night at Molly's swimming class I heard "off the record"
of another parent currently doing exactly THAT.
What was upsetting is that there is the idea that the school inflates their
scores to fall within the IDEA mandates. I'm going to be checking on that.
Sylvan used the CAT5 (California achievement test). It was a 2.5 hour test
JUST ON READING. When Alex has his end of year testing it over ALL his
objectives and is of shorter duration than that.
I'm at the exploratory stage right now as to what we are going to do.
