This is basically what I did when leaving elementary to go into middle
school. We'd basically had a pre-IEP with the teachers and got our game
plan. Jim and I were so appreciative of his reg ed and spec ed teacher--they
spent almost 2 hrs with us. So we had a major game plan before we ever got
to the IEP.

That's great! Maybe I can find out who that would be in terms of Alex's move
for next year and get them to help out on that end. Good idea! Thanks!
The middle school councilor has been GREAT the past few years on the "which
teacher will provide the best learining enviroment" for Alex's needs. But
he's not privy to the high school like he is with the middle school.
Thanks much Catherine! Any nuggets I can glean are wonderful. Bet I'll be
posing more questions come April or so. lol
