Congratulations to Master Alex!!!!!!! And of course his fantastic Mum (whom
he kindly shares with all of us)!!!

How wonderful...........I KNOW how hard you've worked with Alex to try and
keep up in the school areas. That in and of itself is exhausting and
extremely time consuming (btdt) but when you see the results.......wow!
Let's face it, everyone on these lists are fighters for their children or
they wouldn't be here seeking support and info to keep on keepin' on. Many
folks just slid through life and take what comes but not US!! LOL

Geeze Karen, what did you do, win the lottery and bribe folks??? :0)
Seriously, I know how long (YEARS) you've lobbied to get the "basics" for
Alex--and other children. This is sooo great!
>Keep your
> fingers crossed that this year stays as good >all year!!!!!!
Fingers, toes, eyes (0k, maybe not eyes as it's hard to function that way),
and other crossable body parts.
Horse riding, soccer, karate, swimming.......trying to be a "typical" Mum
eh? lol Have chauffeur license will travel.
Very cool stuff. Of course, my Alex could never do the horses, he's so
allergic to them it would kill him.
Karate: Alex decided to go "inactive" there. In a way I can't blame him. It
took 5 years of 3 classer per week 12 months a year to get his junior black
belt. Now after 5 months of not attending it's amazing how much he's
forgotten. On the plus side though, those classes gave him so much: strength
and tone, self-confidence, some positive life lessons, a place to work at
his own pace and advance yet be part of a group........I truly think that
part of the reason Alex is "who" he is today is those 5 years of Tae Bong
Soo Do.
Swimming: Alex still can't swim and does NOT find it to be remotely fun. I'm
so proud of our special kiddies who can and do swim. That takes a lot of
courage when you're a struggler.
Any more news Karen and you'll wonder if they've got the right person!!!!!!!
I'm thrilled for you both--------you deserve it.
