If it's a bacteria it's killable with antibiotics (supposedly).

There are a number of different pseudomonas, they all have a second name
after the pseudomonas. The one humans most commonly get is pseudomonas
aeruginosa. It can cause pneumonia. Typically pseudomonas finds its way to
the upper respiratory tract.

Alex once had a pseudomonas infection in his throat, cleared up with
antibiotics.

some strains of pseudomonas just like staph and strep are always present in
some people's bodies. For example some children with CF (Cystic Fibrosis)
have been found to carry a pseudomonas called cepacia. Not all CFer's carry
this but the ones that do are nursed in an entirely separate unit from the
non-cepacia patients. They are isolated on the ward (ie not allowed to
frequent the shop or cafeteria within the hospital) are taken to physio and
breathing clinics at separate times 'after' the non-cepacia kids in an
effort to isolate the pseudomonas.

so yes sometimes pseudomonas can stay and just flare up at times.
